Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The job is open at the adjoint technique and adjoint technique principal grades. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant application succeeds.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAPa gardener-landscaper or professional baccalaureate in landscape development, or at least five years' experience in a similar job
Experience: Confirmed experience; at least five years in a similar job if no diploma
The profile they look for:
- Valid driving licence category B required.
- Know plants, trees and their diseases.
- Be able to carry out planting and earthworks from plans.
- Know basic safety and lifting rules.
- Work well in a team and understand public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence category B required; BE licence preferred.
- Outdoor work, lifting loads and travel between sites.
- Occasionally on weekends, public holidays or at night for events.
- 35 hours per week. No remote work.
