Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired without a competitive exam, for the adjoint technique grades.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Horticulture CAP or BEP, BEPA landscaping, or Bac Pro in spatial planning, or equivalent
Experience: Experienced; similar work experience
The profile they look for:
- Know how to grow and prune plants.
- Be able to use pruning tools and automatic watering.
- Recognise plants and what they need.
- Show some creativity and suggest ideas.
- Respect equipment and the work environment.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Working at height is possible, and lifting heavy loads is required.
- Driving licence B required; driving self-propelled machines and CACES R-372-1 mentioned.
- Protective equipment must be worn.
