Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade of category C can be filled without an exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed level of experience.
The profile they look for:
- Training or experience in green spaces, public spaces or roads.
- Training in safe lifting, equipment use and safety rules is a plus.
- Driving licence B wanted, depending on the tasks.
- Rigour, discretion, availability and independence.
- Strong sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 2 (Closes in 2 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by post to the town hall, for the attention of the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job, no management duties.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Driving licence B wanted, depending on the tasks.
