Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Experience: Expert level stated, no number of years given.
The profile they look for:
- Car licence minimum, lorry licence a plus.
- Knowledge of the highway code.
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and electricity.
- Team spirit and sense of public service.
- Adaptability and good people skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Outdoor work in all weather, with lifting of loads.
- Hours from 6 am to 1 pm, plus Saturday mornings on a rota.
- Possible call-outs outside these hours for urban cleaning tasks.
- Remote work not possible.
