Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed experience wanted, in a local authority or similar sector.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of green space maintenance methods and equipment.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Able to do physical outdoor work in all weather.
- Knowledge of health and safety rules.
- Public service mindset, rigour and autonomy.
- Experience in a local authority or similar sector.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 7 (Closes in 6 days)
Send your cover letter and CV to the Mayor of Bois-Guillaume, at the Town Hall, or by email to the HR department. You can also apply on the employer's website, from the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Outdoor work, wearing of PPE required, variable hours depending on the season.
- Winter on-call duty possible. Full time of 39 hours per week, 25 days of paid leave and 22 RTT days.
- Daily travel around the town.
