Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.

The profile they look for:
- Know how to use cleaning tools and machines
- Know building cleaning techniques and procedures
- Be discreet, organised and careful
- Work on your own and show initiative
- Be physically fit
- Accept lifting loads and standing for long periods
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply on the employer's website, sending your cover letter and CV. Applications are sent to the human resources department of the Ville de Douarnenez.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time post, 25 hours per week
- No remote work possible
- Post vacant from 1 December 2026, to be filled as soon as possible
- The job requires good physical fitness
