Civil servants (permanent staff) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because this is an entry grade in category C.

- Know basic hygiene and safety rules for public buildings.
- Know how to use and store cleaning products and equipment.
- Be able to spot and report problems.
- Be independent, rigorous and conscientious.
- Be able to manage your time and be discreet.
- Have a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 28 (Closes in 28 days)
Apply on the employer's website, from the official offer. The application asks for a CV and a cover letter addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working time of 23h50 per week.
- Long working hours and working alone.
- Physical strain: long periods standing, toxic products and heavy equipment.
