Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because this entry grade in category C does not require one.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of cleaning products and machines used for sports facilities
- Knowledge of conflict management and public reception
- Knowledge of public buildings rules: fire safety, reception, regulations
- Ability to maintain premises, especially sports floors
- Ability to work following hygiene and safety rules
- Organisation skills and teamwork
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
