Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly at this entry-level grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Expert level requested.
The profile they look for:
- Be punctual, meticulous and organised.
- Be friendly and diplomatic with users.
- Have team spirit and pass on information.
- Be available and quick to cover replacements.
- Adapt to unusual working hours.
- Follow hygiene and safety rules.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 6 (Closes in 5 days)
Apply on the employer’s website, or send your handwritten letter and CV to the town hall. You can also write to the human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Regular or shifted working hours.
- Wear a work overall and service shoes, handle detergents.
- Remote work is not possible.
