Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Know hygiene and safety rules for mass catering.
- Know the basics of allergies and first aid.
- Know cleaning and disinfection techniques.
- Be organised, methodical and alert.
- Be able to work independently and in a team.
- Show patience, teaching skills and practical sense.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time post, non-full-time, less than 50%.
- Split hours, based on individual annual schedules.
- Protective clothing (EPI) is mandatory during canteen time.
- Lifting and awkward postures. No remote work.
