Open to civil servants and contract agents. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP to Bac pro in public works or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- Know road works, masonry and asphalt laying techniques.
- Use specialised road maintenance tools.
- Apply workplace safety rules on site.
- Be able to report on your work.
- Driving licence category B required, category EB preferred.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
