Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Enjoy outdoor work and technical activities.
- Able to operate machines; experience in public works is an asset.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Based at the technical centre in Saint-Saturnin-sur-Loire, mostly outdoors.
- 37h30 per week on an annual basis, with changing hours and rare on-call duty possible.
