Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired directly, for the Adjoint technique grades.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP Road and urban development builder, Bac Pro Public Works, or Titre pro urban construction machine driver.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of road repair techniques.
- Knowledge of road signs and site signalling rules.
- Knowledge of safety and prevention rules.
- Good physical fitness and driving licence B required.
- Team spirit and a sense of local public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B is required.
- On-call duty possible.
- Work both outdoors and indoors, with flexibility depending on the season.
- Remote work is not possible.
