Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted. Experience in a similar job would be appreciated.
The profile they look for:
- Experience in a similar job is appreciated.
- Knowledge of local authorities is appreciated.
- Knowledge of work sites and specific equipment.
- Driving light vehicles, machines or heavy trucks.
- Team spirit, rigour and responsiveness.
- Respect for technical and safety rules.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Carrying heavy loads and standing for long periods.
- Technical and winter on-call duties possible.
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C job.
