1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Punctuality and good organisation.
- Good listening skills and attention to children's needs and behaviour.
- Strictness about children's safety.
- Knowledge of basic first aid.
- Good communication with children, colleagues and parents.
- Discretion and duty of confidentiality.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 2 (Closes tomorrow)
Send your cover letter and CV by email to the town hall before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job starts from September 2026.
- Regular hours, from 11am to 1:30pm on school days.
- Remote work not possible.
