Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Soft skills: calm under pressure, quick reactions, good presentation
- Welcome and conflict management techniques
- Safety and security rules in a public building (ERP)
- First aid skills; SST and SSIAP wanted
- Ability to work alone and calm tense situations
- Office software and computer tools
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes in 3 days)
Apply through the emploi territorial website or by email to the town hall's human resources team. You can also send your file by post to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Summer leave must be taken during the closing dates of the Halle gourmande.
- Shift hours and long periods standing.
- Post vacant from 1 December 2026.
