Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: A first experience as an ASVP or in security
The profile they look for:
- First experience in security, or as an ASVP
- Good knowledge of criminal law and the highway code
- Rigorous, respectful, discreet and available
- Calm under pressure and good control of reactions
- Good computer skills and good writing skills
- Good physical condition and a B driving licence
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Swearing-in and approval from the court are required, done at hiring if needed
- Uniform required, work outdoors in all weather
