Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of treatment processes, or ability to take the training.
- Knowledge of water quality monitoring.
- Knowledge of first-level maintenance work.
- Basic hydraulics and electromechanics would be a plus.
- Rigour, precision, independence and team spirit.
- A sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes tomorrow)
Send your application by post or by email to the President of the communauté de communes, or apply on the employer's website named in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- On-call duty for a full week.
- Driving licence B required.
- Remote work not possible.
