Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Public service spirit and interest in supporting children.
- Good people skills, patience, listening and kindness.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate with others.
- Good organisation, independence and versatility.
- Professional discretion and respect for confidentiality.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules is a plus.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 5 (Closes in 5 days)
Apply on the employer's website or through the offer page. You can also send your cover letter and CV by post or by email to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Category C post, with no management duties.
