Civil servants in the adjoint technique grades and contract agents can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the entry grade is category C. People recognised as disabled workers can also apply through a contract.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Works alone, sometimes in a small team.
- High availability.
- Constant travel between work sites.
- Wears suitable work clothing.
- Works with all the town's staff.
- Physically demanding: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 30 (Closes in 29 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the button on the offer. You can also send your cover letter and CV by email to the town's general secretariat.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C (employee) post.
- Physically demanding: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products, long periods standing.
