Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the post is open at an entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Sense of responsibility and public service.
- Availability and punctuality.
- Respect and patience with residents and their families.
- Follows hygiene and safety rules.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Knowledge of issues linked to ageing.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 1 (Closes in 33 days)
Apply on the employer's website. Also send your CV and cover letter to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
