Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.

Diploma: BAFA or experience with children
The profile they look for:
- BAFA or experience with children
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and safety rules
- Organised, rigorous, punctual and discreet
- Good people skills and team spirit
- Kind and patient, but also firm with children
- Neat appearance and language suited to children
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 19 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your cover letter and CV to the town hall by email or by post.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
