Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Candidates must meet the conditions of article L321-1 of the CGFP: nationality, civic rights, criminal record, military service and health.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Be French or a national of an EU country
- Have full civic rights
- Have a criminal record compatible with the job
- Have a valid military service status
- Meet the health conditions required for the job
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Selection based on the file, then a 20-minute oral interview with a panel
