Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C. Workers recognised as disabled can also apply through a contract.

The profile they look for:
- Know the rules for access to buildings
- Know cleaning procedures and products
- Know hygiene and safety rules, including HACCP
- Organise work from oral or written instructions
- Strictly follow cleaning protocols
- Have a sense of service and teamwork
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
