Civil servants and contract workers can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the entry grade is category C. People recognised as disabled workers can also be hired on contract.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the access rules for buildings and hygiene and safety rules
- Know cleaning procedures, products and equipment
- Organise your work from spoken or written instructions
- Strictly follow cleaning protocols
- Have a service mindset, team spirit and good contact with pupils
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
