Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Successful experience in a similar job, ideally in a local authority.
- Know and follow hygiene and safety rules.
- Take initiative, especially for HACCP.
- Respond quickly to problems and be versatile.
- Work well in a team and be well organised.
- Communicate with the teaching staff and municipal services.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 4 (Closes in 3 days)
Send your application only by postal mail to the Le Cannet town hall, for the attention of the Mayor. State the job title and offer number in your cover letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:

- A valid driving licence (permis B) is ideally required.
