1 Check the conditions You are here
Open to civil servants and contract workers. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade for category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know hygiene and safety rules and the HACCP method.
- Know cleaning techniques and methods.
- Be able to listen to and communicate with elderly people.
- Be able to drive a vehicle in varied weather conditions.
- Be autonomous, organised, discreet and able to report back.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
