The profile they look for:
- Cooking skills: preparation, presentation and decoration.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety rules.
- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfection principles.
- Punctuality, rigour, organisation and teamwork.
- Friendly manner and good customer contact with students.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
No deadline given: the offer can be withdrawn at any time, do not wait.
Apply by email, sending your CV and cover letter to the recruitment address given in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Variable hours, with some services possible outside usual working hours.
- Physical work: standing, lifting, heat and cold, noise.
- Remote work is not possible.
