Civil servants (by transfer or competition winners) and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a competition can be hired, because the entry grade does not require one.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence B and C are a plus.
- Know the hygiene rules for this work.
- Know how to use a blower, a brushcutter and a leaf vacuum.
- Be able to do manual work.
- Be rigorous, discreet and committed to public service.
- Be able to deal with the public and report to your manager.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Driving licence B and C are a plus.
- A contract agent can be hired if no civil servant could be hired.
- Statutory pay, bonus scheme, year-end bonus, savings account (CET) and meal vouchers.
