1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants of the local public service and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know basic cooking and food presentation techniques.
- Know HACCP standards.
- Know the basics of cleaning and disinfection.
- Have some knowledge of food allergies and first aid.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 15 (Closes in 44 days)
Apply online on the Argenteuil city website, in the job offers section. You can also send your CV and cover letter by post to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
