1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed level of experience requested.
The profile they look for:
- Know HACCP standards and hygiene rules for mass catering.
- Know sorting rules and how to use equipment.
- Sense of public service, discretion and good people skills.
- Able to talk with children and listen to their needs.
- Good physical fitness: long periods standing and lifting loads.
- Good organisation and quick reactions.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes tomorrow)
Send your application to the town hall, for the attention of the General Secretary of the town hall, by post or email. The application must be complete.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working time of 35 hours a week, averaged over the year.
- Remote work is not possible.
- An incomplete application will not be reviewed.
- Category C job in the technical field, adjoint technique grades.
