Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP in cooking, service, food technical agent, catering or another food-related CAP; bac pro or BTS in hotel and restaurant work also accepted.
The profile they look for:
- A CAP in cooking, service, food technical agent, catering or another food CAP.
- A bac pro or BTS in hotel and restaurant work is also accepted.
- Experience in traditional or collective catering is a plus.
- Able to lift heavy loads often and stand for long periods.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Starts with a casual contract of 3 hours a day, at lunchtime.
