Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Solid training in catering.
- Able to check products under hygiene and safety rules.
- Comfortable applying the HACCP method.
- Knows how to maintain equipment and premises.
- Good people skills and ability to adapt.
- Responsive, rigorous and autonomous.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter to the town hall, or apply on the employer website given in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
