Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

- Good listening and observation skills.

- Good physical stamina, long periods standing.
- Able to work in a team and be autonomous day to day.
- Ability to listen to children.
- Strict personal hygiene and up-to-date vaccinations.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
