Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Long periods standing
- Carrying loads
- Frequent exposure to heat or cold
- Basic cooking skills: quick cooking, assembling, cutting
- Good manual handling practice
- Good command of multiplication tables and mental arithmetic
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 30 (Closes tomorrow)
Apply on the employer's website or on the official job page. You can also send your CV and cover letter to the town hall by post or by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
