Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know hygiene and safety rules (HACCP).
- Know the local government environment and how the administration works.
- Be quick to react, discreet and versatile.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 24 (Closes in 25 days)
Apply on the employer’s website before the deadline. Send your CV and cover letter addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
