Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Good team spirit.
- Understands instructions well.
- Punctual and serious.
- Discreet and good with people.
- Able to carry loads and do physical work.
- Versatile, able to do different tasks.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the town hall by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Personal protective equipment is mandatory.
- Physical work and carrying loads.
- Sometimes you must start earlier, for example to prepare picnics.
- Applications without a reply after one month will be archived.
