The profile they look for:
- Know food storage and preservation rules.
- Master HACCP hygiene and safety rules.
- Know cleaning techniques for premises and equipment.
- Have good contact with children and be patient.
- Work well in a team, on time and reliably.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
