Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of hygiene, disinfection and safety rules.
- Good people skills for working with users.
- Rigour and ability to work as a team.
- Physical stamina.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 27 (Closes in 28 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the "Apply on the employer's site" button on the offer page on Choisir le Service Public. The CV and cover letter are required.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
