Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the post is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety and food safety plans.
- Basic cooking and serving techniques.
- Physical stamina.
- Rigour and ability to work in a team.
- Good organisation and time management.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 27 (Closes in 28 days)
Click the apply button on the employer site from the offer on Choisir le Service Public. Send your CV and cover letter before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Post vacant from 1 February 2027.
- Category C post.
- Contract staff may be hired if no civil servant applies.
