Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: HACCP training required; no diploma stated.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of catering hygiene and cold chain food handling.
- HACCP training required.
- Good organisation, precision and care in work.
- Good listening skills and teamwork.
- Knowledge of children's food needs.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

You can apply on the employer's website. You can also send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor, by post or by email to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C post.

- A contract worker can be hired when no civil servant has applied.
