Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Food hygiene and food safety training is preferred.
The profile they look for:
- Know food hygiene and food safety rules.
- Know how meals are delivered (cold chain, direct delivery).
- Know basic cooking skills: cooking, cutting, preparation.
- Be friendly, calm and patient with children.
- Be organised, careful and rigorous; work well in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 20 (Closes in 48 days)
Apply on the employer's website or send your CV and cover letter by post to the President of the SIVOM.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Position vacant from 1 February 2027.
- A contract may be offered if no civil servant applies.
