2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, using the link in the offer. The Ministry of the Interior's unique application form is required.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- You work on site and on the road, often outside the region, for more than 2/3 of the time.
- Weekend duty and availability are required.
- Working time is 40h30 per week, with 29 RTT days, mixed working.
- For civil servants: a tax-free daily allowance of 42 € per day for temporary absence, and paid overtime.
