Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired at this entry grade of category C.

The profile they look for:
- Respect and enforce daily rules and the internal rules of each site.
- Work as a team with activity leaders, ATSEMs and teachers.
- Apply hygiene and food safety rules.
- Show flexibility and adaptability.
- Be punctual, reliable and quick to react.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website or send your CV and cover letter by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Works regularly in pairs with a catering or cleaning colleague.
- Based in school kitchens and public buildings.
