Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Training in premises cleaning preferred (HACCP)
The profile they look for:
- Similar experience, ideally in a local authority.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules.
- Quick to react, takes initiative and works well in a team.
- Training in premises cleaning, HACCP training preferred.
- Knowledge of how to use and store cleaning products.
- Rigour and availability.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 2 (Closes tomorrow)
Apply on the employer's website, or drop off or send your file to the town hall. You can also send your application by email to the general secretariat.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job spread over the year on a 23/35 basis.
- Remote work not possible.
- No management role.
