Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA or CAP Petite Enfance (or equivalent), if possible.
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Like working with children.
- Show initiative.
- Get along with other staff (ASEM, after-school team).
- BAFA or CAP Petite Enfance preferred, or equivalent.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 27 (Closes in 27 days)
Apply on the employer's website. Also send your CV and cover letter by post to the Mayor, at the Hargeville town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Split hours: 9:40 to 14:00, then 16:30 to 19:00.
