Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP/BEP in cooking, or significant experience in collective catering
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- CAP/BEP in cooking or experience in collective catering.
- Knowledge of food preparation and packing techniques.
- Good command of food hygiene and safety rules.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Driving licence (permis B) required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) required for deliveries.
- Full-time on an annual basis, according to the service schedule.
- Job involves standing for long periods, lifting loads, and cold or heat.
