Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired at this entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experience in a similar job, ideally in local government.
The profile they look for:
- Successful experience in a similar job, ideally in local government.
- Knows and follows hygiene and safety rules.
- Follows HACCP standards and takes initiative.
- Reactive, versatile and a good team player.
- Able to communicate with teachers and municipal services.
- Driving licence B valid, ideally required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
