Civil servants and contract workers can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Successful experience in a similar job, ideally in a local authority.
- Know and follow hygiene and safety rules.
- Be able to take initiatives, especially for HACCP.
- Be quick to react, versatile and a good team player.
- Be able to communicate with the teaching staff and municipal services.
- Ideally hold a valid driving licence (permis B).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 14 (Closes in 15 days)
Send your application only by postal mail to the Mairie du Cannet. State the job title and the offer number in your letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
