Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the HACCP method and basic hygiene rules.
- Be able to report and raise alerts.
- Know basic handling and posture techniques.
- Welcome families with courtesy and a public service mindset.
- Be punctual, autonomous and respectful of the hierarchy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email or by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
